In my effort to improve my already challenged health, I have discovered sprouting. Ann Wigmore and many other raw food proponents value highly the attributes of sprouting. So I decided I would try it out myself. There are many expensive products out there but I opted for the "jar method" of sprouting. I found plenty of suitable 'canning' or preserving jars at the second-hand store and a suitable rack at International Market for under $20. It's made of bamboo and has no metal screws visible.
My first effort is with Mung Beans. More on the progress in that area!
