Sure enough, the morning of Day 5, there was simply no more room in the sprout jar. So I split the contents between two other jars.
As you can see, they are healthy but running out of room. So as I split them, a single sprout remained in this jar and I ate it. Let me tell you, it tasted NOTHING like the sprouts I get at the grocery store in the bag. Incredibly tasty and provided a hint of nuttiness. I really felt like what I was eating offered a lot - just one sprout!
After I split the jar, I decided to show you them as tomorrow it might look different.
So here they are in their own jar. And I hope they grow larger and larger so I can juice them, crunch on them and continue this great adventure.
So back on the rack they went. As you can see, I am now using a towel to capture the dripping water that falls. I sure hope you gain confidence to grow your own sprouts too.
Tomorrow, as Scarlett O'Hara said, Is Another Day (of sprouting!).
